In 1935 Lewis W. Parker Sr. founded Parker Oil Company in South Hill, Virginia with a goal of providing customers with quality products and prompt, friendly service. Under three generations of Parker family leadership, the company has enjoyed steady growth and diversification.
Today’s Parker Oil Company is a diversified company that serves businesses and residence in southern Virginia and North Carolina with a range of energy-related products and services.
Our family of companies includes two Simmons Travel Centers, the Parker Fuel Freedom card fleet fueling system, the First Energy Corp. terminal facility in Richmond, 13 bulk plant locations, a chain of convenience stores, and an underground storage tank closure company known as Environmental Management Services.
