While it's smart to utilize enclosures to protect your tank, storage tanks are still susceptible to damage from their exposure to the elements, which can lead to corrosion and contamination. Routine inspections will help identify problems early and extend the lifespan of your fuel storage tank.

- Wet Spots - If you notice any wet spots underneath the tank or on its surface, this is an indicator of trouble; call 434-447-3146 to get it looked at by a professional.
- Unstable Legs - Unfortunately, some problems that occur with a storage fuel tank are the result of faulty installation. If the legs are uneven and the tank is not level, it will have trouble functioning at its full potential.
- Rust and Dents - Corrosion or dent marks along the exterior of the tank are indicators of problems coming from inside the tank.
- Unprotected Lines - Just like the fuel storage tank itself, the tubing that connects the tank to your home can deteriorate. If you notice any cracks or splits in the rubber tubing, call right away.
